Here is a band I had never heard of before. Since I love metal bands that have a strong folk influence (such as Ensiferum, Falconer, Turisas) I thought Iwith rather simplistic guitar work and a lot of focus on vocals (Even though the Gravewish NFO states the genre as simply Black Metal lol). This band is a collection of members from many folk metal bands all over Europe. Altogether 20 people were involved in the making of this album. So far there is no GRAVEWISH version of this album on a public tracker, but some rs links are bound to appear.
The main topic of Folkearth lyrical side are ancient history, beliefs and mythology, nordic mostly, but also celtic/greek. Folkearth songs are story telling and their purpose is to entertain, not to carry symbolic or personal message.
